The Round the Island Race takes place on July 2nd this year.
This is your chance to be on the start line aboard Great Escape. In 2010 we finished 4th in our division.
We have 10 crew spaces available and will race with Professional Skipper and 1st Mate in probably the largest fleet race in the world.
Join the yacht on the evening of Friday 1st July in Hamble. The race starts early Saturday morning and takes most of the day. The course takes you through the needles channel south of the Wight and back through the forts for a spectacular finish off Cowes in time for celebrations ashore in Cowes that evening. We then return to Hamble on Saturday evening.
The price includes a Berth aboard on Friday evening, the race itself , Breakfast and Lunch aboard and use of foul weather gear. Evening meals will be taken ashore at your expense.
Cowes Week 6th – 13th August 2016
We have spaces aboard Great Escape racing in IRC division. Special Weekend Package - £375 for first Saturday and Sunday incl. Friday Practice. The price Includes Race entry, Use of Foul Weather Gear, Berth aboard Friday and Saturday night and packed racing lunch. We will be berthed in Shepards Wharf Marina for the duration, an area restricted to competitors only.
Weekday racing from £165 per day per person. Or come for the full 8 days £1200.
We will have shore side accommodation available at an extra charge should you not want to sleep on board.
Little Britain Challenge Cup 9th – 10th September 2016
Whole boat charter available on our Skippered Jeanneau 52.2 Great Escape. 8 Comfortable berths aboard Coded for 12 people. She is competitive under IRC and has 4 comfortable cabins with own heads. She is a great party boat for this regatta with big fridges.
Price £2,500 for the regatta entered in Non Spinnaker Division for 2 day charter Incl. Skipper and Deck hand, Use of Foul Weather Gear.
